本赛事将于2007年4月14日于匈牙利首都布达佩斯举办,起源于世界排名第三的Damien Moore组织的世界扫雷玩家聚会.本次比赛由Damien Moor和匈牙利本土选手Gergely Nagy共同组织,并首次申请到微软(匈牙利)提供奖金赞助!!
赞助方微软要求比赛必须使用Minesweeper Vista软件,但该软件无法保存录像.后经Damien和Gergely力争,最终微软同意选择了使用Minesweeper X软件并加载Vista皮肤.
比赛将分为初级(1小时)/中级(1.5小时)/高级(1.5小时)三个阶段,每个级别取最好前6个成绩累计得出总成绩,排名前6的选手将分配奖金(数目尚未公开,敬请等待).
届时我将赴匈牙利参加比赛,有雷友有条件并愿意参赛的请尽快与我联系(因为要办理护照/签证/机票,时间紧迫,请从速).
因为不熟悉流程，英语又差，最终因为签证官要求移民局盖章的邀请信导致没有拿到visa，最终没能成行，实为憾事。Gergely跨国快递给我邀请信，实在对不住他。
