非常平凡的男主角篠崎命因为心仪的女孩深泽由纪
而加入自行车部，却拿出了闭气3分钟的惊人成绩。
于是在自行车部部长——号称“无冕帝王”的深泽
遥辅、号称“精密机器”的寺尾晃一的带领下，连
带号称“黑衣人”的大和武一起参加了市大赛。与
日本职业自行车联赛第一人兵藤直人进行战斗……
作品宣扬“永不放弃”的主题，TV版整整26集，除
了两三集铺垫和泡沫成分外，以市大赛的进行为主
线，铺垫每位选手的成长历程。
令人耳目一新，看完后对自行车运动会更加了解，
也是比较热血的作品，遗憾的是结局十分草率，这
也是限集数的动漫作品的通病。
