主角司是网络游戏The World中的一个普通的咒纹师
，在游戏过程中因不明原因陷入昏迷，精神却被困在
游戏中，无法下线。意外触碰了黄昏的碑文后获得了
超越系统的守护者，因此被“深色骑士团”通缉。在
迷茫的状态下司见到了始终沉睡的神秘少女阿乌娜和
猫脸人魔哈。逃亡过程中结识了重剑士米米鲁、贝尔
，咒纹师BT，深色骑士团的创始人——重斧使昴、绰
号“红色闪电”的骑士库力姆，和PK楚良（空）。
司在朋友们的帮助下找回自己，谜底渐渐被揭开……
因为未玩游戏，对剧情只能是一知半解。
音乐是梶浦由記出道之作，自然无可挑剔了……
